Two Arrested in Suspected Class A Drug Supply Investigation

Officers attended an address in Bournemouth town centre following reports that a vulnerable resident was being exploited through "cuckooing", where criminals take over a person's home to facilitate criminal activity.

Following entry to the address, two men were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs. Officers seized a quantity of suspected Class A drugs, items associated with drug supply, and a substantial amount of cash. We believe the individuals may be linked to a wider drug dealing network and enquiries remain ongoing.

Safeguarding Vulnerable People

In separate incidents this week, officers identified and disrupted two premises suspected of being used as brothels. The individuals located within were safeguarded and offered support, while enquiries continue into those responsible for exploiting them.

Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour

Elsewhere, officers arrested a man on suspicion of harassment and computer misuse offences following a series of long-term anti-social behaviour incidents affecting local businesses. He has since been released on bail with conditions preventing him from entering the areas concerned, providing those affected with much-needed respite and peace of mind while investigations continue.
